At the start of July I participated in Red Puppy Biscuit day. This involved baking and selling puppy shaped biscuits to raise funds for the Blind Foundation in New Zealand to help fund the training of guide dogs.
I spent an entire weekend baking and decorating dog themed biscuits to sell on the day. I made individual packets in three different designs, as well as bigger bags with a puppy and a paw and bone.
By the end of my fundraising, I was able to give the Blind Foundation $396.80 towards training the guide dogs – something that makes me incredibly happy and made the weekend of intense decorating completely worth it.
